| Keep Your Focus
When we're going through trials and troubles, one of the most challenging things for us to do is keep our focus. It's hard because our problems usually take center stage and try to demand all of our attention. All we can focus on is the hurt and pain that has occurred in our life.
Sometimes discouragement is on the left of us and depression is on the right and it's hard to see
anything except the tears streaming down our face. However, it is at this most difficult time that
we need to keep our eyes fixed and focused on Jesus.
It is said that blinders are put on mules and horses so they will keep their focus and not become
distracted by what's going on around them. They can't look to the left nor can they look to the
right, they can only look straight ahead.
In order to survive through the many set backs and disappointments in life, we must learn how
to block out the distractions. We must learn how to block out the lies of the devil telling us that we won't make it. Allow the Holy Spirit to place spiritual blinders on your eyes. Keep your focus and look straight ahead to Jesus. KEEP YOUR FOCUS
PRAYER: Lord I Pray that you will strengthen us and teach us how to stay focused on you. Amen
